Rebecca is a singer, pianist, ukuleleist, songwriter, and music teacher with a passion for American standards and a solid background in classical music. She has lived, performed, and taught all over the US, including in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas and California. In 2008, she earned the Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she focused on new music and French baroque music — but don’t feel like you have to call her Dr. Rice. Rebecca loves teaching; she has taught voice for over 19 years and piano for more than 12, and serves on the boards for NATS-LA and Music Tree. She is a native of New Hampshire and currently lives in Los Angeles.
