Rebecca is a singer, pianist, ukuleleist, songwriter, and music teacher with a passion for American standards and a solid background in classical music. She has lived, performed, and taught all over the US, including in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Illinois, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas and California. In 2008, she earned the Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she focused on new music and French baroque music — but don’t feel like you have to call her Dr. Rice. Rebecca loves teaching; she has taught voice for over 20 years and piano for more than 15, and serves on the board of the non-profit Music Tree. She is a native of New Hampshire and has called Los Angeles home for more than a decade.
